중학교 시절 친구 용만이는 Judas Priest가 최고라고 했고 난 Deep Purple이 최고라고 했다. 그 중에서도 락발라드 Soldier of Fortune은 그 슬픈 가락때문에 마음이 더 끌렸고, 지금도 술한잔하고 노래방이라도 가게되면 부르는 18번이 되었다. 제목이 무슨 뜻인지도 모르고 들었는데 나이가 들면서 내 삶을 되돌아 보니 나의 노래이기도 했다. 그렇게 먹고 살기위해 돈을 좇아 용병의 삶을 살아가야했고 지금도 그 채바뀌같은 굴레를 벗어나지 못하는 우리 인간의 삶에 대한 고찰이 이 노래이다. / hanihani101
